Long time ago in Bethlehem 很久以前，在伯利恒

So the Holy Bible says 所以圣经说：

Mary's boy child Jesus Christ 玛丽的男孩孩子耶稣基督

Was born on Christmas Day 出生于圣诞节

   

Hark, now hear the angels sing 听，现在听天使在唱歌

New king's born today, 新国王的诞生的今天，

And man will live for evermore, 而男人会生活，直到永远，

Because of Christmas Day 由于圣诞节的

   

Now Joseph and his wife, Mary 约瑟和他的妻子，玛丽

Came to Bethlehem that night 来到伯利恒，当晚

They found no place to bear the child 他们发现没有地方负担子女

Not a single room was in sight 没有一个房间是在望

   

By and by they found a little nook 渐渐地，他们发现了一个小角落

In a stable all forlorn 在一个稳定的所有渺茫

While shepherds 虽然牧羊人

Watched their flocks by night 眼睁睁地看着自己的羊群夜间

The music seemed to come from afar 音乐似乎来自远方

   

Trumpets sound and angels sing, 喇叭的声音和天使唱歌，
