These days shallow and feeble resolve abound 这些天来浅薄，苍白无力解决层出不穷

And true devotion and passionate fervor are seldom found 和真正的奉献和热情的激情，很少发现

But there are those who often feel they're all alone 但也有一些谁常常感到自己孤独一人

Those of whose identities are known 那些其身份是已知

By the mark of the crucified Son 由钉在十字架上的儿子的标志

   

Praying, caring, loving, sharing 祷告，关怀，爱心，分享

These are the marks of the cross 这是十字架的标志

Giving, bearing, feeling, daring 给，轴承，感觉，大胆

To lay down your life on the line 放下你的生活就行了

Forgetting what you leave behind 忘记你离开的背后是什么

And willing to suffer the loss 而愿意承受的损失

Of the marks of the cross 十字架的标记

   

These days the search for detachment and solitude 这些天来寻求超脱与孤独

Lead to retreating to fortresses no one would dare intrude 导致撤退到城池没有人敢介入

Then there are those whose restless burdens start to show 再就是那些不安分的负担开始出现

Those who unmistakably most know 这些谁最明白无误地知道

There's no crown 'til we suffer the cross 有没有表冠，直到我们所受的十字架

   

All our identity rests in the knowledge 我们所有的身份掌握在知识

Of who we're created to be 我们创建了谁的要

We are His workmanship, made in His image 在他的形象，我们原是他的工作，取得了

For all of creation to see 对于所有的创作看

The marks of His pain and His glory 对他的痛苦和他荣耀的标志
