I do dimly perceive that while everything around me is ever-changing, 我隐约感觉到，虽然我周围的一切都是千变万化的，

ever-dying there is, underlying all that change, a living power that is changeless, 不断死去有，基本所有的改变，生活用电是不变的，

that holds all together, that creates, dissolves, and recreates. 保存在一起，创建，解散，并重新创建。

That informing power or spirit is God, and since nothing else that I see merely through the senses can or will persist, He alone is. 该通知功率或精神是神，因为没有别的，我看到仅仅通过感官可还是会坚持下去，只有他。

And is this power benevolent or malevolent? 而正是这种力量王道还是恶意？

I see it as purely benevolent. 我认为这是纯粹的王道。

For I can see, that in the midst of death, 因为我所看到的，在死亡之中，

Life persists, in the midst of untruth, 生活依旧，在谎言之中，

Truth persists, in the midst of darkness, Light persists. 事实仍然存在，在黑暗之中，灯光依旧。

Hence I gather, that God is Life, Truth, Light, He is Love. 所以我推测，神是生命，真理，光明，他是爱。

He is the supreme good. 他是最高的善。

But He is no god who merely satisfies the intellect, if He ever does. 但他没有上帝，谁仅仅是满足智力，如果他做。

God to be God must rule the heart and transform it. 上帝是神一定要排除心脏和改造它。

He must express Himself in every smallest act of His votary. 他要表达自己在他的信徙的每一个最小的行为。

It is proved not by extraneous evidence, 事实证明不是多余的证据，

but in the transformed conduct and character of those who have felt the real presence of God within. 但在那些谁觉得在上帝的真实存在的转化行为和性格。

To reject this evidence is to deny oneself. 要拒绝这些证据否定自己。

This realization is preceded by an immovable faith. 认识到这一点的前面有一个不可移动的信心。

test the fact of God’s presence can do so by a living faith, and since faith itself cannot be proved by extraneous evidence, 考神的存在这一事实可以由活的信心这样做，因为信仰本身不能被无关的证据予以证明，

the safest course is to believe in… the law of Truth and Love. 最安全的当然是相信......真理和爱的法则。

Exercise of faith will be the safest where there is a clear determination summarily to reject all that is contrary to Truth and Love. 行使信仰将是最安全的，那里是一个明确的决定草率拒绝一切违背真理和爱。

I confess that I have no argument to convince through reason, faith transcends reason. 我承认，我没有论据来说服通过理性，信仰超越的原因。
