Sometimes His eyes were gentle and filled with laughter 有时候，他的眼睛温柔而充满欢笑

And sometimes they cried 有时他们哭了

Sometimes there was a fire of Holy anger 有时是神圣愤怒之火

In Jesus' eyes 在耶稣的眼睛

   

But the eyes that saw hope in the hopeless 但眼睛看到了希望的绝望

That saw through the fault to the need 这看穿了故障，需要

Are the same eyes that look down from heaven 都是一样的眼睛，看起来从天上降下来

Into the deepest part of you and me 为你我最深的部分

   

And His eyes are always upon us 他的眼睛总是在我们身上

His eyes never close in sleep 他的眼睛从来没有接近睡眠

And no matter where you go 无论你走到哪里

You will always be in His eyes 你总是会在他的眼睛

In His eyes 在他的眼中

   

Sometimes His voice comes calling like rolling thunder 有时候，他的声音来呼唤像滚雷

Or like driving rain 或者像瓢泼的大雨

And sometimes His voice is quiet and we start to wonder 有时候他的声音很安静，我们开始怀疑

If He knows our pain 如果他知道我们的痛苦

   

But He who spoke peace to the water 但他谁说话和平水

Cares more for our hearts than the waves 更关心我们的心比波

And the voice that once said, "You're forgiven." 和声音曾经说过，“我原谅你。 ”

Still says, "You're forgiven", today 今天还在说， “我原谅你”

Sometimes I look above me when stars are shining 有时候，我看着在我上面时，星光闪烁

And I feel so small 我觉得这么小
