Was a jolly happy soul 是一个快乐的心灵快乐

With a corn cop pipe 随着玉米警察管

And a button nose 和一个按钮的鼻子

And two eyes 而且两只眼睛

Made out of coal 做出来的煤

Is a fairy tale they say 是一个童话故事，他们说

He came to life one day 他来到生活1天

Some magic in 有些神奇

That ol' silk cap 那醇丝帽

They found 他们发现，

For when they placed it 因为当他们把它

On his head 在他的头上

He began to dance around 他开始起舞

Was alive as he could be 活着的时候，他可能是

He could laugh and play 他可以嬉笑

Was hot that day 是热的那一天

So he said lets run 所以他说让运行

Down to the village 下到村

With a broom stick 用扫帚棍

Runnin' here and there 飞奔在这里和那里

All around the square 各地广场

Sayin' catch me 说猫鼠游戏

He led them down 他带他们下山

The streets of town 小镇的街道

Right 右

To the traffic cop 到交通警察

And he only 他只

Paused a moment 停顿了一下

When he heard him 当他听到他

Holler stop 喊叫停止

Had to hurry on his way 只好赶紧途中

Waved goodbye sayin' 挥手告别说
