Calcium carbonate and soluble glass and so on were confected as alkaline antifouling agent. Alkaline antifouling agent was releasing steadily when the coating film was dipped in seawater. As time gone, the pH value of seawater was increasing. Solubility parameter and results showed that there was no corrasive phenomenon between the polyethylene strand and the coating.
