The frequency value in S phase is 4. 83 times of M phase, 2. 9 times of G1 phase, and 3. 41 times of unsynchronized cells. These results suggested that gene correction events were highly related to S phase. Then we compared the targeting efficacy for two groups of cells in S phase. One group was contact with thymidine and the other one went smoothly through S phase without replication blockage.
