Besides fractional crystallization, the geochemical variation of Huanglingmiao suite is related to the mixing between dacitic magma and felsic magma. Dalaoling suite is probably derived from early Precambrian volcanics.

Adakites in this area have five rock types, quartz diorite, quartz monzodiorite, quartz monzonite, monzogrannite and hornblende granite. These rocks commonly contain hornblende, belonging to I-type granites.
