This was beneficial in increasing the inhibition effects of BBT1. In 0.5M H〓SO〓 solution, BBT1 suppressed anodic corrosion reaction. In 3%NaCl solution, BBT1 suppressed both cathodic and anodic corrosion reactions. 1- [ (1'-imidazolly)-methyl] benzotriazole was synthesized by Mannich reaction.
