对31例老年性痴呆（阿尔茨海默病15例和多发性脑梗死性痴呆16例）住院患者在治疗前、治疗后4周，采用简易智能状态检查及老年临床评定量表进行评定、比较。结果应用奥氮平治疗老年性痴呆患者的精神症状用量小，治疗后mmse总分明显增加。scag各项因子分明显改善。结论奥氮平治疗老年性痴呆的精神病性症状临床疗效肯定。
