To further explore the pharmacological action of topiramate, and clarify the possibility of anti-tumor growth and metastasis of CA inhibitors and its relation with AQP1, we studied the effect of topiramate on adhesion of high metastatic prostate carcinoma to laminin, and established the spontaneous metastatic model of Lewis lung carcinoma to studied the influences of topiramate on tumor growth and metastasis and AQP1 expression in lungs and primary tumors of mice.
