ABSTRACT To study the antibacterial constituents from the fermentation broth of endophytic fungus Penicillium sp. 0935030 from mangrove plant Acrostichum aureurm. The separation procedure was guided by antibacterial bioassay. Seven compounds were isolated and purified by column chromatography, and their structures were identified as cyclo (1), cyclo (2), 1(2Furanyl)1,2ethanediol (3),(3β,4β,22β)olean12ene3,22,23triol (4), mannitol (5), uridine (6), and liquiritigenin (7) by physicochemical and spectral data.
