Structure determinations of 11,12 and 14 were carried out. The triboluminescence maxima of 12 and 13 are similar to those of their photoluminescence. X-Ray structure analyses show that Eu atoms all exhibit eight-coordinate tetragonal antiprismatic geometries and complexes 11, 12 and 14 are all centrosymmetric.
