Three important conclusions are achieved: 1 By analyzing the demand for spatial resolution of recording medium in different digital holographic recording setups, it shows that lensless Fourier transform holography can relax the requirement of spatial resolution and use the full spatial bandwidth of the CCD sensor. 2 Because of the differences of spatial resolution of image planes in different directions, reconstructed images can be relatively extended in the direction of high spatial resolution and reduced in the direction of the low one. 3 Lateral resolution of the reconstructed images is mainly determined by the highest spatial frequency of digital holograms recorded by CCD, and increases with the larger CCD size, the higher spatial resolution of the CCD sensor, and the shorter recording distance.

It shows that the lensless Fourier transform digital hologram can be reconstructed at any distance by Fresnel transform algorithm. For convolution algorithm,the whole reconstructed image with high resolution can be acquired in an optimal reconstruction range or a small area around it.

Ernest August Gutt has been engaged in this domain and made great achievements.A systematic research on Gutt"s translation theory clarifies some misunderstandings concerning this theory, disclosing its true nature and exploring its explanatory power to translation practice. Furthermore this thesis probes into the application of Gutt"s theory to literary translation, pointing out that Gutt fails to realize the important role that non-formal aesthetic markers, such as tone and feeling, play in transferring aesthetic values in literary translation, though he lays much emphasis on the transference of formal aesthetic markers. Attempts have been made to amend Gutt"s theory in respect of transferring aesthetic values of literary work by means of "non-formal aesthetic markers, with the aim of making it more suitable for literary translation between Chinese and English.
