In order to make reasonable and effective use of slag in concrete, effects of slag admixing quantity on the slag utilization in the system, quantity and gradients of hydrated products are analyzed on the base of measuring the reaction extents of slag in slag-cement system with different admixing quantities and amounts of Ca2 and non-evaporable water. It is believed that there exists an appropriate admixture scope that enables the slag to be utilized efficiently in the system with reasonable amount and gradients of hydrated products and ensures the material has a good performance.
