Although great achievements have been made in recent years, such as Jiang Lihong"s Explanation for Words in Dunhuang Narrative Literature and A Dictionary for the Language in Dunhuang Documents, Huang Zheng and Zhang Yongquan"s Collation and Annotation to Dunhuang Narrative Literature, and a lot of papers published in various academic journals, there are still many Colloquial words with their meanings unknown that are worth more thorough researches. In light of this, this paper attempts to make a philological explanation for 34- Colloquial words in Dunhuang narrative literature which are divided into 19 groups through employing such methods as analyzing and inducing, seeking synonyms or ardnyms according to the mutual annotation or different words expressing the same meaning, and exploring their etymologies.
虽然近年来,对敦煌变文俗语词的研究取得了丰硕的成果,如蒋礼鸿《敦煌变文字义通释》、《敦煌文献语言词典》,黄征、张涌泉《敦煌变文校注》等著作,以及许多散见于各种期刊上的单篇论文,表明这一研究正在呈现出繁荣兴旺的喜人景象,但是由于敦煌变文来自民间的土壤,采取的是接近当时的口语,所以其中不明其义的俗语词还是连篇累牍,信手拈来,仍然值得我们去研究。
