每年七月初七,喜鹊(magpie)出于同情,会飞到天上形成鹊桥(the bridge of magpies),使这对苦命恋人得以相聚一次. 朝鲜与韩国也有个类似的节日,也叫'七夕',源自中国. 不过发音略有变化,叫chilseok. 越南类似的节日叫That Tich.
